The harvest is safely in - a very small one this year due to rain at flowering causing a poorer fruit set than we anticipated. The good news is that we had very good ripeness and, for the first year ever, did not need to add sugar to our red wines!
Bolney Wine Estate will be at The Wine Show taking place at Olympia, London from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th November. This is your chance to meet wine celebrities Oz Clarke, Rob Buckhaven, Susy Atkins, Ewan Lacey, Joe Wadsack and, of course, our very own Stuart, Gary and Alan who will be manning our stand. Tickets for The Wine Show include free entry to Master Chef Live which is taking place over the same weekend.

We are very excited to announce details of our Christmas Gifts Fayre being held in our Winery on Saturday 3rd December. 
We will be open from 10am until 4pm! Here at the Bolney Wine Estate in beautiful Sussex surroundings it will be a real Winter Warmer. Whether you’re looking for some yummy Christmas treats or a gift for a close friend or relative, we’ve got it all here for you!
Featuring ten different stalls; including Wine, Chocolate, Cheese, Cakes, Chillie Jelly, Bespoke Recycled Literary Gifts, Handmade Gifts, Christmas Cards and Decorations. We will be joined by High Weald Dairy, Cocoa Loco, Wobblegate, Running Hare, Phoenix Cards, Lily’s Chillies, Bookish, Real Wood Gifts, Rich and Fruity Cake Company, Plants4Presents and more!
You will have the chance to talk to our tutored wine and food matching specialists who will show you which wines to put with classic Christmas and winter dishes. We’ll even have some home-cooked canapés (from our Vineyard Chef) for you to try during your tasting!
And if you’re feeling tired and hungry from all the shopping, we’ve got our very own café open for the day where you can relax and have some delicious home-made soup or perhaps a slice of cake! Or why not try our Chef’s savoury scones with a glass of wine or just a warm cup of coffee?
There will also be a Raffle to end our fantastic Fayre with the chance to win the ‘Ultimate Hamper’ which will be made up with kind donations from our stallholders. All proceeds from the Raffle will go to Chestnut Tree House who we are proud to announce as our chosen charity for this event.
