So, who are we?
We have been making award winning wines at our family run vineyard in Bolney, West Sussex, since 1972. We are a small and friendly bunch who work hard to make the best handmade wines possible. Happily, even the family dogs play their part in checking out the best places to plant grapes because they are usually the sunniest ones to sleep in!
We are very passionate about what we do here at Bolney Wine Estate and are always striving to be as good as we possibly can be. We feel very privileged to have a vineyard here - it is an excellent site with a great micro climate for growing grapes, especially red ones - which is good as we specialise in making still red wines. But don’t worry, we also make white, rosé and sparkling wines.
We have a long pedigree for making quality wines as our wines consistently win awards in International competitions. In addition, our wines always pass the Quality Wine Scheme and because of this they are recognised as Quality Wines, not just Table Wines.
Our wines are of slightly lower alcohol content than those of most other countries and this makes them especially attractive to women and to our younger drinkers – but, of course, men enjoy them too!
